Ingredients
  

Potatoes
  • 4 medium russet potatoes scrubbed and dried
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1.5 teaspoons sea salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter optional, for serving
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives optional, for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
  2. Pierce each potato with a fork and rub with olive oil.
  3. Sprinkle sea salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika evenly over the potatoes.
  4. Place potatoes in the air fryer basket and cook for 35-40 minutes, turning halfway, until crispy and tender.
  5. Slice open, fluff with a fork, and top with butter and chives if desired. Serve hot.

Notes

For extra crispiness, pat the potatoes dry before oiling.
