  • 1.5 lbs Salmon fillet skin on or off
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 Lemon sliced
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp Paprika
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • Optional Fresh herbs (dill, parsley)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Place salmon on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Drizzle with olive oil.
  5. Season with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  6. Arrange lemon slices on top of the salmon.
  7. If using, sprinkle with fresh herbs.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until salmon is cooked through.
  9. Serve immediately.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the salmon for 30 minutes before baking.
