Garlic Butter Steak with Cheesy Alfredo Tortellini

Ingredients
  

Meat
  • 1 piece ribeye or sirloin steak (about 8-10 oz)
  • salt, to taste salt for seasoning
  • black pepper, to taste black pepper for seasoning
Cooking Oils & Fats
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
Garlic & Herbs
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
Pasta & Dairy
  • 9 oz fresh or frozen cheese tortellini
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Method
 

  1. Season steak with salt and pepper, then cook 3-4 minutes per side. Rest the steak.
  2. Cook tortellini in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, cook butter and garlic until fragrant, then set aside the garlic butter.
  4. Simmer heavy cream, milk, and Parmesan until thickened; season with salt and pepper.
  5. Toss tortellini in the sauce, slice steak, drizzle garlic butter over steak, and garnish with parsley.

Notes

Use high-quality steak for best flavor. Adjust seasoning to taste.
