Ingredients
  

Bananas
  • 3 pieces ripe bananas peeled and sliced into 1-inch pieces
  • 0.25 cup natural peanut butter or almond butter
  • 0.25 cup dark chocolate chips or sugar-free chocolate chips
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil optional, helps with smooth coating
  • 0.25 cup unsalted roasted peanuts chopped
  • 1-2 tsp honey or maple syrup optional, for sweetness
  • Pinch sea salt optional

Method
 

  1. Peel and slice bananas into 1-inch pieces, then freeze for 1 hour.
  2. Mix softened peanut butter with honey or maple syrup if desired.
  3. Spread peanut butter on banana slices, then top with another slice to form sandwiches. Freeze for 15 minutes.
  4. Melt chocolate chips with coconut oil in 20-second intervals until smooth.
  5. Dip banana sandwiches in melted chocolate, roll in chopped peanuts, and sprinkle with sea salt. Freeze for 1-2 hours until firm.

Notes

For best results, serve immediately or store in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.
