  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Paprika, for dusting
  • Lemon wedges, for serving (optional)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Butterfly the shrimp by slicing along the back.
  3. Combine cream cheese, mayonnaise, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  4. Mix well until fully incorporated.
  5. Spoon the cream cheese mixture into the butterflied shrimp.
  6. Place the stuffed shrimp on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Dust the stuffed shrimp with paprika.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until shrimp is pink and stuffing is golden brown.
  9. Serve immediately with lemon wedges, if desired.

Notes

For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the cream cheese mixture.
