Ingredients
  

Shrimp
  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup dry white grape juice (optional)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Serving
  • Cooked rice, for serving
  • Chopped parsley, for garnish

Method
 

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add garlic and cook for about 30 seconds, until fragrant.
  3. If using, add white grape juice and let it simmer for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Add heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, butter, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes (if using). Bring to a simmer, stirring constantly.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Add shrimp to the skillet and cook for 3-5 minutes, or until pink and cooked through, flipping halfway.
  7. Serve shrimp and sauce over cooked rice. Garnish with chopped parsley.

Notes

Adjust the amount of red pepper flakes to your spice preference.
