Ingredients
  

Pasta
  • 8 ounces gluten-free elbow macaroni
Cheese
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
Dairy & Fats
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
Flour & Seasonings
  • 2 tablespoons gluten-free all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Toppings (Optional)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese for topping
  • 1/4 cup gluten-free breadcrumbs for topping

Method
 

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Melt butter in a saucepan, whisk in flour, and cook for 1 minute.
  3. Gradually add milk, stirring until thickened. Stir in seasonings and cheese until melted.
  4. Mix cheese sauce with cooked pasta. Optional: top with Parmesan and breadcrumbs, then bake at 350°F for 15-20 minutes.
  5. Serve warm and enjoy!
